Seat covers

There are only two interior colors for the Prius, light tan, and charcoal, the charcoal is a much better color because it hides dirt quite well and it looks better. The tan color is way too light and it shows every bit of dirt, so as soon as we got our first Prius I purchased both seat covers, and rubber floor mats. But the seat covers I bought were cheap universal seat covers which didn't fit that great or last very long. I then decided to try seat covers which were made specifically for the Prius. They were very expensive to buy from the dealership (big surprise), and most internet sites charged around 100 dollars for two front seat covers. I then went to ebay where I came across a company called 'The seat cover factory' who offered a complete set of both front and rear seat covers for only $39.99, plus $10 shipping. I was a little skeptical about the quality of these seat covers but they claimed to be the same company who makes the dealer offered Prius seat covers, plus they offered a lifetime warrantee. So I purchased a set and installed them this weekend, it took about 2 hours (I am a perfectionist), but they look great. I am amazed at the quality of the covers and the excellent fit.
